Support & How‑To

Spin smarter without sync. This guide walks through the core parts of the app — the Rack, BPMs, Mix, and Playlist — so you can build your collection, set tempos by tapping, find compatible tracks, and play anywhere.

In the Rack

Add, organize, and enrich your record collection.

  • The Rack tab contains the record collections.
  • Add records by scanning the bar code, searching online, typing manually, or importing a CSV (Comma Delimited File).
    • CSV columns required: RecordTitle, Artist, Year, Songs, Videos.
    • Songs column — JSON array, one object per song:
      {"title":"A1. The Lazarus Heart","duration":274}
    • Videos column — JSON array, one object per video:
      {"youtubeID":"TS0oP1FkGFA","title":"Sister Moon"}
  • Search by title, artist, etc.; browse by artist; or use the alphabetic sidebar to jump to a name.
  • Slide a record to the left to delete it.
  • Tap a record to edit it.
    • Edit name, side, track, and BPM.
    • Add, edit, or remove associated videos.
    • Tap a video to watch it, or slide right to add it to the playlist.

In the BPMs

Select a song and enter its BPM by tapping.

  • Choose the song you want to annotate.
  • Tap along for a minimum of 4 beats to lock in a stable tempo.
  • Save the measured BPM back to the song on the record.
  • This workflow makes it easy and fast to annotate many songs in a short session.

In the Mix

Find compatible tracks by Beats Per Minute, or by tapping at the tempo of what you're hearing.

  • Type a target BPM or use tap-tempo to set it.
  • Results show songs from your collection within ±5 BPM of the target.

In the Playlist

Play what you have queued and take your collection on the go.

  • Start playback from the top of the queue.
  • Enjoy seamless practice sessions or portable sets.
  • Listen while walking or in the car — who knew!
